You must have come across several websites talking about game backup and never known what it actually means. Game backup is the term given to any method by which an alternate copy of the game is stored in a location, apart from it source. A backup is generally created have a copy of the game, in case the original source file gets deleted. It is similar to creating a backup for your PC and there are various methods to do it.
The most common way of creating a game backup is to copy the files to another location apart from the source folder.
